These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Tyler Hobbs!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Valiente Del Toro!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Alec Ball and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Del Toro takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Del Toro lands a big head kick that sends Hobbs tumbling to the mat! Del Toro takes a step backwards and waves Hobbs back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Tyler Hobbs has been cut.
Hobbs takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Hobbs connects with a good right hand that stumbles Del Toro. Del Toro circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hobbs fails with the takedown.
Del Toro tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Hobbs shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Del Toro defends it nicely.
Hobbs shoots in looking for a takedown. Del Toro tries to sprawl out of it but Hobbs keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Del Toro manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Del Toro! But no joy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tyler Hobbs. That's going to take a lot out of him.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Del Toro is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Hobbs.
Hobbs will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Hobbs shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Del Toro defends it nicely.
Hobbs throws a right hand that misses

and Del Toro counters with a head kick that drops Hobbs to the mat! Hobbs scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

Hobbs is rocked!
Del Toro has worked on his takedown defense in the runup to this fight and it is paying off so far.
Del Toro throws a pinpoint strike between Hobbs's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Hobbs crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Del Toro scores a great knockout victory!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Valiente Del Toro!
An out of breath Valiente Del Toro thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
