Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ken Shamrock (ranked 1601 p4p, 1234 weight class) and Jacek Siuta (ranked 208 p4p, 162 weight class). Shamrock kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Dangerous Entrance Theme. Siuta is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: "The Ecstasy of Gold" Ennio Morricone. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ken Shamrock! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jacek Siuta! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Yuuki Gou and Ren Mimura.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shamrock looks for a takedown but Siuta sprawls well. Siuta looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Shamrock shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Siuta as he avoids it easily. Siuta looks like he wants to counter punch here. Siuta slaps away a takedown attempt from Shamrock, before circling back to the center of the mat. Siuta throws out a counter right but Shamrock avoids it with no problem. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ken Shamrock. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Siuta throws a poor cross that misses
and Shamrock counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Siuta looking to hit a scissor sweep but Shamrock is one step ahead there. Shamrock trying to control but Siuta is working from the bottom.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Shamrock passes Siuta's left leg - he's now in half guard. Shamrock looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Shamrock scoring with strikes to the body and head. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Shamrock is nestled in close to Siuta, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Shamrock lands a nice short elbow. Nice strikes from Shamrock there. Shamrock wants to control but Siuta is keeping him busy. Shamrock not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Siuta is trying to get back to full guard. Siuta is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Shamrock looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Siuta with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Shamrock has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Shamrock landing strikes, looking to finish! Shamrock lands a big shot there that rocks Siuta but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Shamrock with shots to the head and body - Siuta looks very uncomfortable down there. Siuta slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Shamrock working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Shamrock works his way into side control. Shamrock working the ground and pound. Siuta tries to buck Shamrock off but Shamrock is having none of it. Shamrock postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Check out the look on Shamrock's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Siuta sneaks back into half guard. Shamrock throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Shamrock seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Shamrock is looking for a kimura but Siuta is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Shamrock to get the leverage.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. Shamrock slips a nice elbow through Siuta's hands, connecting with Siuta's forehead. Shamrock controlling the action here.
Shamrock is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Siuta defends it well. Shamrock trying to mount his opponent but Siuta defends it. Shamrock looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Siuta is looking for a sweep. Shamrock is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Siuta regains full guard. Nicely done. Shamrock is looking to work some ground and pound but Siuta has wrist control. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Shamrock's corner. There ya go! There ya go! And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Ken Shamrock dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Siuta misses with a wild body shot. Shamrock shoots and misses and Siuta counters with a lovely shot to the body. Shamrock misses with a takedown attempt and Shamrock takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Shamrock closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Siuta's guard. Shamrock throws a big right hand that misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Shamrock preventing the sweep. Shamrock sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Siuta's guard.

 That's one minute gone in the round. Shamrock prevents Siuta from improving his position. Shamrock lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Shamrock slips a nice elbow through Siuta's hands, connecting with Siuta's forehead. Shamrock takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Shamrock is pressing down on Siuta's thigh, looking to free his foot. Siuta is holding on for now. Shamrock is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Siuta can do to turn this around?

Shamrock postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Siuta is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Shamrock, into his guard.
Siuta wants to pass the guard but Shamrock is keeping the position. Siuta trying to control but Shamrock is working from the bottom. Shamrock keeping full guard, as Siuta tries to pass.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Siuta trying to control the position from guard on top but Shamrock is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Siuta tries to free his leg and advance position but Shamrock is retaining full guard. Siuta wants to control from the top but Shamrock keeps moving. Siuta looking to sit in guard and control but Shamrock gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Shamrock has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Siuta can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Shamrock controls the pace. Siuta wants to sweep but no luck. Shamrock sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. Shamrock working the head with strikes. Shamrock scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Siuta to see if he's OK. Shamrock trying to control the position but Siuta is working away. Siuta wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Shamrock working the body and head with strikes. And that's the end of the fight! Ken Shamrock showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Shamrock, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
