The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Matti Vanhoillinen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chai gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Vargas.
It looks like Olyksandr Chai has been cut.
Chai slips under a jab.
An attempted straight right counter from Chai misses the target.
Vargas misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Chai.
Vargas tries to move into range but Chai moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
It looks like Arturo Vargas has been cut.
Vargas just misses with a punch to the body.
Chai is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Jab, jab by Vargas - just one landing.
Chai lands with a nice body punch.
Vargas throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A jab lands there for Vargas.
Chai avoids the body shot from Vargas.
Chai is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Chai blocks a jab.
Vargas throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Chai sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Vargas takes a swing at Chai's ribcage but misses.
Chai is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Vargas throws a hook to the side of Chai's head but Chai sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Vargas swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Vargas throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Chai sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Chai lands a body shot.
A looping hook to the body misses from Chai. Vargas does a little dance to reset his feet.
Vargas misses with a looping right.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Chai fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Vargas throws a lazy uppercut
and Vargas takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Vargas misses with a jab to the body
and Chai lands a stunning uppercut that sends Vargas to the mat!
Vargas is rocked!
Chai moves nicely into side control.
Vargas is still in real trouble! Can Chai finish him?
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Chai takes a little break here. Vargas wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Chai has an Americana. Vargas didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Chai is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Chai hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Olyksandr Chai!
