Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Padraig Kelleher!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 12 - 1, fighting out of London, Leon Smith!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith looks to throw the jab but Kelleher is out of range.
Kelleher throws a jab but it's blocked by Smith.
Smith avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Smith clobbers Kelleher with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
It looks like Padraig Kelleher has been cut.
Smith misses with a hook. Kelleher ducked under it nicely.
Kelleher was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Kelleher takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Kelleher misses with a wild body shot.
Smith swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Smith walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Kelleher checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kelleher slips a jab from Smith.
Kelleher moves out of range of the strikes.
Smith misses with a hook. Kelleher ducked under it nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kelleher drops Smith with a beautiful combination! Smith stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Kelleher is looking for the KO!
It looks like Leon Smith has been cut.
Kelleher rushes Smith and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Smith is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Smith pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Smith has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Smith throws the left hand but Kelleher avoids the punch easily.
Smith connects with a body shot.
Kelleher lands a nice hook to Smith's body. Smith takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Smith misses with a leg kick.
Smith throws a lazy uppercut
and Kelleher makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Kelleher throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Smith on the side of the head.
Kelleher throws an overhand right that has Smith reeling! Kelleher follows up with more punches and Smith is out cold! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Padraig Kelleher!
