Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tevin Shay (ranked 132 p4p, 416 weight class) and Seppo Maki (ranked 17 p4p, 46 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tevin Shay!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Seppo Maki!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Alec Ball and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shay misses the body punch
and Maki counters with a straight right hand.
Shay scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Maki takes a jab right on the kisser.
Shay definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

and Maki makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Shay really felt that one!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Shay throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Shay has an active guard here but Maki has managed to pass into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Shay is looking for a sweep. Maki is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Maki takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Maki takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Tevin Shay seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Shay closes the distance and clinches up with Maki, looking for a takedown. Shay pushes Maki against the cage but Maki circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Shay darts in looking for a takedown but Maki gets double underhooks and turns Shay into the cage.
It seemed like Maki was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Maki wants to get back to his feet but in bucking up he's left an arm hanging out! Shay has locked onto it and has pulled off a slick armbar! Maki taps furiously! This one is all over!
