Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zavian Barkley (ranked 1326 p4p, 2038 weight class) and Devonte Pinks (ranked 175 p4p, 262 weight class). Pinks has chosen S*T*I*L*L as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Zavian Barkley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 28 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Devonte Pinks!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, William Peck and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pinks tries to clinch but Barkley moves out of range.
Barkley slips a jab from Pinks.
The fight stays on the outside here - Pinks looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Pinks falls off balance throwing a combination
and Barkley counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Pinks clinches with his opponent.
Barkley tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
I was talking to Barkley's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Barkley jumps guard and drags Pinks to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Pinks wants to stand but Barkley has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Pinks is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pinks postures up.
Pinks avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Pinks gets to his feet - Barkley follows without any prompting.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Pinks takes a kick to the side of the head.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Pinks.
Pinks moves out of range of the body kick from Barkley.
Pinks doesn't manage to clinch there - Barkley circles away.
Barkley swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Pinks falls off balance throwing a combination
and Barkley counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Barkley lands a big head kick that sends Pinks tumbling to the mat! Barkley takes a step backwards and waves Pinks back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Pinks is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Pinks lands a jab-cross combination.
Pinks is still on wobbly legs! Can Barkley finish him?
It looks like Zavian Barkley has been cut.
Devonte Pinks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Barkley keeps the fight on the outside.
Pinks misses with a two punch combination.
Barkley feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Pinks seems to have recovered his senses.
Pinks throws a series of punches but Barkley avoids them all with ease.
Barkley tries to keep at a distance but Pinks has taken the fight into the clinch.
Pinks breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Pinks tests Barkley's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Pinks misses with a combination
and Barkley counters with a body kick that stops Pinks in his tracks momentarily.
Pinks looks winded!
Barkley throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Barkley sends Pinks crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Barkley is motioning to the referee to let Pinks up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Pinks is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Barkley doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Pinks crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Pinks's bad books for that mishap!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Zavian Barkley!
A relieved looking Zavian Barkley thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
Devonte Pinks spoke after the fight, saying 'ooohh! see you next time!'.
