Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Magnus Larsen (ranked 439 p4p, 718 weight class) and Mate Orsic (ranked 54 p4p, 78 weight class). Orsic has chosen KRS One - Rappaz R. N. Dainja as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 26 - 15 - 3, fighting out of London, Magnus Larsen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 33 - 20 - 1, fighting out of New York, Mate Orsic!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Robert Twigg and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Orsic keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Orsic takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
A nice inside leg kick there by Larsen. That's going to slow Orsic down.
Larsen pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Larsen takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Orsic throws a right hand that Larsen ducks under and follows up with a left that Larsen also avoids with ease.
Larsen is looking to counter punch.
Larsen keeps the fight on the outside.
Larsen throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
A chopping leg kick lands by Larsen.

Orsic throws a right and a left that both miss.
Orsic has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Larsen connects with an inside leg kick.
Orsic wants to clinch up but Larsen keeps it at a distance.
Larsen dodges the punch combination from Orsic.
Orsic tries to score a power double leg takedown but Larsen sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Orsic somewhat.

Larsen throws a jab when Orsic was well out of range.

Orsic takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Orsic avoids the head kick by Larsen.

Orsic closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Larsen to the mat! Larsen manages to get full guard.
Orsic throws a strike but Larsen rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Orsic wants to get back to full guard but Larsen has passed into side control.
Larsen content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Orsic is looking for a sweep.

Orsic tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Larsen wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Orsic wants to control but Larsen postures up.
Orsic is looking for a sweep.
Larsen is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Orsic's shoulder. That is not cool.
Orsic regains half guard.
Orsic wants to improve his position but Larsen is controlling well.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Larsen content to control rather than advance.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Orsic crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Larsen - the referee stops the clock and Orsic gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Larsen. Orsic manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Larsen throws a right and a left that Orsic avoids nicely.
Larsen throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Larsen throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Larsen throws a shot to the body.
Larsen looks to score with a jab to the body but Orsic is just out of range.
Orsic keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Larsen.
Larsen swats away the attempt to clinch by Orsic.
Larsen scores with a jab to the head.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Larsen lands with an overhand left.
Larsen smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Larsen lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Orsic backs up against the cage.
Orsic lands a really nice looking cross but Larsen seems unphased.
Larsen uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Orsic.
Larsen lands a jab to the head.
Larsen rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Orsic moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Larsen throws a nice looking combination but Orsic bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Orsic misses with an uppercut.
Larsen went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Mate Orsic is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
A telegraphed right hand from Larsen misses the target.
Larsen misses with a wild body shot.
Larsen misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Orsic.
Larsen is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Orsic can do to turn this around?
This has been an exciting period of action!
Larsen thows a left - swing and a miss!
Larsen does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
That kick from Larsen tenderised Orsic's leg. Orsic is trying to keep his angry face on.
Orsic ducks under a wild hook from Larsen.
Magnus Larsen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Orsic is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Larsen's half guard.
Orsic is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Larsen sees it coming and defends easily.
Orsic is trying to control. Larsen wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Orsic is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Larsen is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Orsic tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Orsic has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Larsen regains half guard, as Orsic was trying to land strikes.
Larsen keeps control of the position for the meantime.
Orsic is looking for a kimura but Larsen is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Orsic to get the leverage.
Orsic has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Orsic jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Larsen is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Larsen and Orsic has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
The ground and pound from Orsic seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Larsen avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Orsic.
An elbow from Orsic crashes against the mat.
Orsic is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Larsen is trying to escape and Orsic transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Larsen is forced to tap! Nice work there by Orsic! Very nice indeed!
