Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Aslanbek Akhtankhanov (ranked 723 p4p, 777 weight class) and Hobo Garrincha (ranked 62 p4p, 69 weight class). Garrincha has chosen Молодые ветра as his entrance music. Aslanbek Akhtankhanov is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 30 - 12 - 3, fighting out of St Petersburg, Hobo Garrincha!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, George Francis and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Akhtankhanov throws an off balance right hand
and Garrincha counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Akhtankhanov uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Garrincha.
Garrincha digs a good body shot into Akhtankhanov's ribs.
Akhtankhanov has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Gym To Nica in the buildup to the fight.
Garrincha fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Akhtankhanov manages to avoid it.

Akhtankhanov tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Garrincha manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Akhtankhanov shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

and Akhtankhanov cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
It looks like Hobo Garrincha has been cut.
Garrincha wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Garrincha drops his hands momentarily and Akhtankhanov takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Akhtankhanov will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Akhtankhanov catches Garrincha with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Garrincha bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Akhtankhanov's head backwards.

And an attempted straight right on the counter from Garrincha! But no joy.
Garrincha has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.

Akhtankhanov takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Garrincha cracks Akhtankhanov with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Akhtankhanov tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Garrincha pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Akhtankhanov is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hobo Garrincha!
