Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Addy Edison (ranked 1066 p4p, 595 weight class) and Breno Belmiro (ranked 96 p4p, 56 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Edison might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Entry of the gladiators. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Addy Edison!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 4 - 1, fighting out of New York, Breno Belmiro!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Emerson Jorge and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Edison looks to land a left hand but Belmiro moved out of range nicely.
Belmiro jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Belmiro uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Edison.
Belmiro is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Edison.
Belmiro misses with a jab to the body
and Edison counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Belmiro has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Edison is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Belmiro's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Edison uses his free foot to push down on Belmiro's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Belmiro.
Edison is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Belmiro is surviving well by controlling Edison's body position as best he can.

Edison is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Belmiro can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Edison looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

That's time! Edison's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Edison has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Belmiro doesn't defend quickly enough and Edison has managed to lock this one up! Can Belmiro escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Edison on a fantastic submission victory.
