Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ibrahim Amrani (ranked 2178 p4p, 2022 weight class) and Rukter Demenok (ranked 189 p4p, 172 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Demenok's choice of entrance music: The Moby Dick Speech. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Mauricio Rocha and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Amrani ducks under a wild hook from Demenok.
Demenok has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Demenok got a little sloppy there for a moment and Amrani has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Demenok has managed to get both his arms back between Amrani's legs - danger averted.
Demenok must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

That was a close round but I would say that Ibrahim Amrani will probably get the nod.
