The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magomedsharipov gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Bissoma.
Magomed Magomedsharipov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice jab there from Bissoma.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Magomedsharipov is defended easily by Bissoma.
Bissoma dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Magomedsharipov is breathing heavily.
Magomedsharipov takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Bissoma lands a big uppercut and Magomedsharipov crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Magomedsharipov looks OK. Bissoma waves Magomedsharipov back to his feet!

Bissoma lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Magomedsharipov up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Bissoma from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Magomedsharipov's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Yossi Bissoma!
Yossi Bissoma was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
