Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dean Howard (ranked 2392 p4p, 2230 weight class) and Lyke Tuytuhlz (ranked 274 p4p, 258 weight class). Tuytuhlz has chosen Nas - N.Y. State of Mind as his entrance music. Lyke Tuytuhlz struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 186.2lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Dean Howard could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Lyke Tuytuhlz's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Howard throws an off balance right hand
and Tuytuhlz connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like Dean Howard has been cut.

Tuytuhlz lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Howard backwards.

Howard jumps guard but Tuytuhlz stands there with Howard around his waist. Howard gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Howard tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Tuytuhlz smiles and moves away.

Tuytuhlz takes a swing at Howard's ribcage but misses.
Howard thows a left - swing and a miss!
Howard sets himself, and Tuytuhlz steps forward looking for the clinch! Howard avoids it this time.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Tuytuhlz bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Howard's head.

Howard changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Howard is looking to wear down Tuytuhlz with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Tuytuhlz dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Tuytuhlz defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Howard.

Tuytuhlz has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.

Howard is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

enabling Tuytuhlz to counter with a crisp jab.
Howard misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Tuytuhlz counters with a nice right hand that sends Howard toppling to the canvas! Howard scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Tuytuhlz finish him?!
Dean Howard's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Tuytuhlz jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Howard is rocked!
Tuytuhlz sends Howard crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Tuytuhlz is motioning to the referee to let Howard up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Oh Howard is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Howard connects with a nice looking jab.
Tuytuhlz has Howard up against the cage in a clinch.
Nice body punch from Tuytuhlz - that landed with a thud.
Howard seems to have got his legs back now.
Tuytuhlz digs a right hand into Howard's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Howard's gas tank.
