Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 12 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Karl Karjalainen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 28 - 1, fighting out of London, Moritz Zimmerman!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karjalainen jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Karjalainen throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
so Zimmerman counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Zimmerman thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Zimmerman accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Zimmerman is working Karjalainen over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Zimmerman missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Zimmerman is looking to advance position but Karjalainen has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Zimmerman is looking to improve his position but Karjalainen isn't that keen on the idea.

Zimmerman tries to reverse the position but Karjalainen maintains control.

Zimmerman has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Karjalainen. Oh but Zimmerman has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Karjalainen goes limp - he's gone! Zimmerman jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
