Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Ren Mimura and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guy fakes the leg kick and cracks Mann in the body.
Guy has managed to clinch.
Guy decides to pull guard.
Mann is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Guy is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Guy had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Mann defends it easily.
Guy working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Mann doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Mann manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Mann makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Guy shoots in looking for a takedown but Mann manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Guy's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Guy motions for Mann to come forward. Guy throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Guy tries to close the distance and clinch but Mann swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
It seemed like Mann was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Guy pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Mann looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Mann throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Guy finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
A little jabbing left from Mann on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Light Mann dominated that round.
That's time! Guy's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Guy tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Mann manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Mann now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Guy tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Mann! But no joy.
Mann cracks Guy with a good jab.
Guy closes the distance and clinches up with Mann, looking for a takedown. Guy pushes Mann against the cage but Mann circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
It seemed like Mann was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

and Mann counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Guy lands with a shot to the body.

and Mann counters with a straight right hand.

Guy fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mann manages to avoid it.
Guy takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Mann throws a looping overhand right but Guy ducks down to avoid it.
Nice uppercut lands for Mann. That snapped Guy's head back.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Mann tests Guy's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Mann chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Guy can pounce on him.

Guy lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Mann circles away quickly and effectively.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Mann! But no joy.
Guy rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Mann moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

and Mann counters with a straight right hand.
Guy tries to score a power double leg takedown but Mann sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Guy somewhat.
Guy misses with an attempted mid kick.
A big left from Mann misses.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Mann enables Guy to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Mann manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Mann uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Light Mann is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Light Mann seems to be getting the better of the standup.

and Mann connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Mann has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
