Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hardeep Nijjar (ranked 5336 p4p, 4851 weight class) and Sub Zero (ranked 426 p4p, 394 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Sub Zero!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

It looks like Hardeep Nijjar has been cut.

Zero connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Nijjar's hands.
Nijjar definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Nijjar is in trouble now - Zero has advanced to mount!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nijjar wants to hold on but Zero pushes him away.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Zero has hold of Nijjar's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Nijjar manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Hardeep Nijjar's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Nijjar takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Zero throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Nijjar on the side of the head.
Nijjar throws a looping overhand right but Zero ducks down to avoid it.
A little jabbing left from Zero on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

and Zero counters with a big uppercut that knocks Nijjar off his feet! Zero dives into side control looking to finish!

Nijjar is letting Zero control him for a moment.
Zero working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Zero is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Nijjar can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Zero is working for a guillotine from mount but Nijjar frees his head quite easily.
Nijjar knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Zero on the ground.
Zero throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Nijjar because Zero loaded up on that one.
