Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Charles Lee Ray (ranked 1490 p4p, 2651 weight class) and Alfred Shipley (ranked 186 p4p, 316 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Ray might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Buddi Song. Charles Lee Ray could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Alfred Shipley's chin.

The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Ray, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Shipley throws a shot from downtown. Ray moves away and avoids it.
Ray throws a left that rocks Shipley and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Ray dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Shipley regain composure!
Shipley is rocked!
It looks like Alfred Shipley has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ray tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Shipley is still in real trouble! Can Ray finish him?
Shipley is trying to get back to half guard.
Ray wants to stand but Shipley is controlling his arm.
Shipley seems to have recovered his senses.
Ray stands up and beckons Shipley to his feet.
Decent striking displayed by Shipley there.
Ray drops Shipley with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Shipley! Ray dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
