Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Michael Page (ranked 2636 p4p, 1614 weight class) and Common Carp (ranked 308 p4p, 198 weight class). Carp comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Back On My BS - BigXthaPlug kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Michael Page! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Common Carp! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shirou Masuda and Sosuke Kotani.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Page waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Carp. Carp looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Michael Page seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Carp lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
A telegraphed right hand from Carp misses the target. Carp lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Page throws a shot from downtown. Carp moves away and avoids it. A jab from Carp misses. Sloppy strikes from Page. Those never looked like landing. Page misses with a wild body shot. Page connects with a body shot. Carp throws a jab when Page was well out of range. Page is looking for a counter combo. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A looping hook to the body misses from Page. Carp does a little dance to reset his feet. Carp showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Page.

and Carp counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Page misses with a lunging right hand
and Carp counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Carp connects with a body shot that sends Page's belly button to the back. Page looks to score with a jab to the body but Carp is just out of range. Carp looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. A big right from Carp misses. Carp swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Nice straight punches there by Page. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Page. Page staying out of range there. It looked like Page wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Page gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Page with a nice cross. Page throws a hook to the side of Carp's head but Carp sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Carp is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Carp keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Page scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. A lazy left from Page finds it's target.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Page is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Carp. A nice side step and Carp releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Carp misses with a looping right. Page misses with a right hand enabling Carp to counter with a crisp jab. Page misses with a looping left. Page lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. A jab from Page does it's job there.
Carp cracks Page with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Page looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away� can Carp finish him?
 Page is rocked! Page thows a leg kick but Carp checks it and Carp counters with a lovely shot to the body. Oh Page is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Page loads up on a big right hand but Carp slips the punch. Carp closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Page! Carp dives in looking to finish! Page is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Common Carp! Common Carp thanked the fans post fight for their support.
