Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jethro Nitro (ranked 4193 p4p, 4221 weight class) and Asa Bernard (ranked 138 p4p, 139 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jethro Nitro!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Asa Bernard!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Taro Takaoka and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nitro throws the left hand but Bernard avoids the punch easily.
A little jabbing left from Bernard on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Bernard shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Nitro as he jumps to the side.
Nitro drops his hands momentarily and Bernard takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Nitro scores with a three punch combo!
Bernard throws a nice looking combination but Nitro bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Bernard throws a body punch but Nitro moves out of range.
Nitro is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Bernard.
Nitro fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bernard manages to avoid it.
Nitro throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Bernard unleashes a big counter combination but Nitro bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Bernard lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Asa Bernard seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nitro misses with a hook.
Bernard looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nitro gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Bernard drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bernard jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Bernard pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Nitro is keeping the position for now.
Bernard is pushing down on Nitro's leg trying to pass to half guard. Nitro is fighting to maintain full guard but Bernard has managed to sneak the leg through.
Bernard seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Bernard is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Nitro doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Bernard.
Bernard is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Nitro on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Nitro tries to get out of the position.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Bernard is trying to work for a kimura but Nitro is defending well.

Bernard looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Bernard is trying a forearm choke� I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Bernard's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Bernard working for a submission but Nitro is keeping him at bay.
Bernard moves to take his opponent's back.
Bernard is looking for the choke from the back position but Nitro is controlling his hands well.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Bernard has the hooks in. Nitro is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

Nitro can't escape the position.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Asa Bernard dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Nitro walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Nitro throws a series of punches but Bernard avoids them all with ease.

Nitro is rocked!
Bernard batters Nitro with a massive right followed by a huge left! Nitro is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Bernard lands a final crushing right hand to drop Nitro to the mat with a gruesome thud! Bernard is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:16 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Asa Bernard!
Asa Bernard was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
