Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nathan Fedorov (ranked 1478 p4p, 1907 weight class) and Scherwin Blake (ranked 186 p4p, 241 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Nathan Fedorov has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Nathan Fedorov seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Nathan Fedorov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Scherwin Blake!
The judges for this bout are Francis DeMontford, Summer Carpenter and Ron Honeybunn.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blake punishes Fedorov's body with a nice straight punch.
Blake fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Fedorov on the side of the head.
Fedorov misses with a leg kick
and Blake counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Fedorov looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Fedorov avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Fedorov lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
A jab from Fedorov does it's job there.
Blake slips a jab from Fedorov.

Blake bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Fedorov's head.
Blake lands a head shot.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Fedorov takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Blake takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Blake loads up on a big right hand but Fedorov slips the punch.
Blake pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
A big left from Blake misses.
Fedorov thinks about countering with a body kick.
Blake missing with a left hand there. Fedorov was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Fedorov lands an overhand right.
Blake scores with a three punch combo!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Blake looks to land a right hand but Fedorov moved out of range.
A jab from Fedorov does it's job there.
Blake is rocked!
Blake slips a jab and a cross from Fedorov.
Blake is still on wobbly legs! Can Fedorov finish him?
Fedorov throws an overhand right that drops Blake like a sack of potatoes! Fedorov dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nathan Fedorov!
After the fight, Nathan Fedorov was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
