Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jeffrey Tucker (ranked 1149 p4p, 1186 weight class) and Sergei Sokolov (ranked 151 p4p, 155 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jeffrey Tucker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Sergei Sokolov!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Aafke Stam and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice uppercut lands for Sokolov. That snapped Tucker's head back.
Sokolov's corner calls for a 1-2. Sokolov obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Sokolov lands with a hook. Tucker tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Sokolov shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Tucker but Tucker pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Tucker is taking a breather. Sokolov says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Sokolov lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Tucker doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Sokolov goes for a double leg but Tucker avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Tucker continues to drive forward.

Sokolov tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Sokolov has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Sokolov is keen to just control but Tucker is a slippery customer.
Sokolov is nestled in close to Tucker, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Sokolov working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.

Sergei Sokolov comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Sokolov has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
