Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tom Huller (ranked 1618 p4p, 1531 weight class) and Kristian Kent (ranked 199 p4p, 192 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tom Huller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kristian Kent!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Shigeki Fujiwara and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Huller avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Kent slips under a jab.
Huller shoots in for a takedown but Kent shows good takedown defense.
Kent now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Huller avoids a punch combination nicely.
Kent slips under a jab from Huller.
Kent on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Huller avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Huller misses with a body shot

Huller shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kent as he avoids it easily.
Huller throws a body shot but no joy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The fighters circling - Huller throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Kent darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Huller uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Kent.
Huller looks to land a left hand but Kent moved out of range nicely.
Huller missing with a left hand there. Kent was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

A telegraphed right hand from Huller misses the target.
Huller throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kent misses with a straight right.
Kent paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Huller misses with an uppercut.
Huller lands with a shot to the body.
Kent throws a hook to the side of Huller's head but Huller sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Kristian Kent is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Kent moves out of range of the strikes.
Huller misses with an uppercut.

Kent throws a hook to the side of Huller's head but Huller sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Kent misses with an uppercut.
Kent connects with a good right hand that stumbles Huller. Huller circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Huller jabs Kent right on the nose. Kent blinks but takes it well.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kent thows a left - swing and a miss!
Huller tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Kent manages to circle out of the way.
Kent takes one to the side of the head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Huller staying out of range there.
Huller shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Huller showed some decent athleticism there.
Kent wants to stand back up but Huller manages to pass into side control.

Kent tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Huller wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Huller lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Kent throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
Kent walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Kent misses the shot to the body.
Huller is looking to counter the offense by Kent and move into the clinch.
Huller scores with a jab.
Huller needs to keep his hands up - Kent had a free shot at his head there.
Kent dips to his left and cracks Huller with an uppercut!
Huller is rocked!
Kent flashes Huller a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Huller's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Huller crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Kent punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Kristian Kent!
