Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mario Leonardo (ranked 2492 p4p, 23066 weight class) and Amarillo Brillo (ranked 307 p4p, 513 weight class). Leonardo comes into the arena with Price Check Death Threat blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 23 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Amarillo Brillo!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Yuuki Gou and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brillo ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Brillo shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Leonardo punishes Brillo's body with a nice straight punch.
Brillo moves away from the strike by Leonardo.
Brillo swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Brillo on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Leonardo lands a jab to the head.
Leonardo has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Wolfpack Gym in the buildup to the fight.
Brillo throws a lazy uppercut
and Leonardo counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
It looks like Amarillo Brillo has been cut.
Leonardo avoids the body shot from Brillo.
Brillo avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Leonardo pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Brillo looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Leonardo lands a big right hand that sends Brillo crashing to the mat! Leonardo stays standing though and waves Brillo back to his feet!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A looping hook to the body misses from Leonardo. Brillo does a little dance to reset his feet.
Leonardo moves into the clinch.
Brillo jumps guard but Leonardo turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Leonardo lands a left hand.
Leonardo prevents a takedown attempt there.
Mario Leonardo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Amarillo Brillo.

Leonardo lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Leonardo scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Brillo tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Leonardo pushes Brillo back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Brillo is trying to maintain a safe position but Leonardo gets an underhook and turns Brillo into the cage.
Leonardo throws a knee to the head but misses.
A nice left hand lands by Leonardo.
Brillo is trying to drag Leonardo to the mat but Leonardo just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Leonardo gets through Brillo's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Leonardo lands a hook that snaps the head of Brillo backwards.
Leonardo is leaning against Brillo and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Brillo's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Leonardo lands with a left to the head.
Brillo is rocked!

Brillo is still on wobbly legs! Can Leonardo finish him?
Leonardo lands a left hand that snaps the head of Brillo backwards.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Leonardo.
Leonardo pushes Brillo against the cage. Leonardo is working some dirty boxing. Leonardo pushes off with a quick right hook! Brillo goes down! Brillo tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Leonardo moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mario Leonardo!
A relieved looking Mario Leonardo thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
