Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Baron Welch (ranked 3095 p4p, 1167 weight class) and Kyle Bush (ranked 200 p4p, 97 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Welch might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Red Light. Bush comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Soemthing in the way kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Baron Welch has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 9 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Baron Welch! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kyle Bush! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Taro Takaoka.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Welch is looking to clinch. Welch tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Bush defends well and Welch ends up having to push Bush into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Bush thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Bush drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bush jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Welch looking for a sweep. Not yet Welch, not yet.
Welch looking for a guillotine here but Bush defends easily.
Welch looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Welch is trying to control the position but Bush postures up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Our spies down at at BANZAI COMBAT ACADEMY LAS VEGAS inform us that Bush has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off? Welch throws a big elbow that misses. Welch throws a strike but Bush rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Welch manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Bush on his heels. He'll look to pass Bush's guard now, I'm sure. Bush is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Welch accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Welch postures up and lands a big shot to Bush's brow. Welch is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Bush is aware though and is defending well. Bush won't allow Welch to sweep him here. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Bush has instead reached around Welch's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Bush arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
