Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Zdravko Mihaijlovic!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Caique Lima!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Kenichi Hosakawa and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mihaijlovic looks for the body kick but Lima saw that one coming.
Lima connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Mihaijlovic momentarily.
Mihaijlovic throws a hook but Lima avoids it easily.
Mihaijlovic misses with a wild body shot.
Lima tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mihaijlovic swats him away and circles back towards the center.

and Mihaijlovic counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mihaijlovic swats away the attempt to clinch by Lima.
We've been told by Mihaijlovic's head coaches at Tokyo All-Stars that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Lima throws a good cross that connects.
Mihaijlovic throws a body kick that misses.
Lima moves in looking to clinch but Mihaijlovic pushes him off.
Lima moves into the clinch successfully.

Lima has a closed guard, preventing Mihaijlovic from standing up.
Mihaijlovic wants to stand and escape but instead Lima has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Mihaijlovic looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Mihaijlovic wants to improve his position but instead Lima has moved into half guard.
Lima is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Mihaijlovic defends it well.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Mihaijlovic is trying desperately to improve position.
Lima is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Mihaijlovic has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Mihaijlovic!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Mihaijlovic decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Lima, up you get!
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Zdravko Mihaijlovic will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.
Lima moves into range and clinches up with Mihaijlovic.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Mihaijlovic.
Lima jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Mihaijlovic walks away with a smile on his face. Lima gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Lima doesn't manage to clinch there - Mihaijlovic circles away.
And Mihaijlovic counters with a quick kick to the body but Lima blocks it.
Lima throws the left hand but Mihaijlovic avoids the punch easily.
Mihaijlovic appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Lima's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Lima duly obliges.

and Mihaijlovic counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Lima blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Mihaijlovic putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Lima in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Mihaijlovic is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Lima can do to turn this around?

Caique Lima seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lima lands an overhand right.
Lima wants to clinch
and Mihaijlovic counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Lima throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Zdravko Mihaijlovic is winning the standup battle so far.
Oooooh!!! Mihaijlovic has knocked Lima down with a huge combo! Mihaijlovic steps away and waves a wobbly Lima back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
It looks like Caique Lima has been cut.
Mihaijlovic throws a head kick but Lima moves out of range.
Mihaijlovic throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Lima stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Mihaijlovic ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Lima moves away.
Lima misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Mihaijlovic.
It looked like Mihaijlovic wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Mihaijlovic avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Mihaijlovic misses with an uppercut. Lima saw that one coming.
Mihaijlovic scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Lima doesn't seem bothered though.

Lima lands with an overhand left.
Mihaijlovic lands a big uppercut and Lima crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Lima looks OK. Mihaijlovic waves Lima back to his feet!
Lima drops his hands momentarily. Mihaijlovic doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Lima staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Lima doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:24 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Zdravko Mihaijlovic!
