Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hans Peter Geerdes (ranked 3572 p4p, 3194 weight class) and Colton Mccann (ranked 406 p4p, 370 weight class). Geerdes comes to the cage accompanied by Scooter vs Dick Rules - Maria. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hans Peter Geerdes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Colton Mccann!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Sosuke Kotani and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Geerdes throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Mccann tries to clinch but Geerdes moves out of range.
A telegraphed right hand from Mccann misses the target.
Geerdes quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
Mccann turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Mccann connects with a solid leg kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Geerdes looks to throw the jab but Mccann is out of range.
A little jabbing left from Mccann on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Geerdes misses with an uppercut. Mccann saw that one coming.
Mccann now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Mccann crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Geerdes - the referee stops the clock and Mccann gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Geerdes. Mccann manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Mccann is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Geerdes.
Geerdes has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Geerdes there as he acknowledges the shot.
A jab from Mccann misses.
Geerdes thinks about countering with a head kick.
Mccann walks forward, straight into a front kick from Geerdes.
Geerdes on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Mccann ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Geerdes moves away.
Mccann steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Geerdes.
Mccann feints a counter leg kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Mccann looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Mccann tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Geerdes is able to avoid easily.
Mccann doesn't manage to clinch there - Geerdes circles away.
Both fighters circling a little - Geerdes finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Geerdes misses with the combination.
Mccann misses with a lunging right hand
and Geerdes connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Mccann cracks Geerdes with an open hand slap.
Mccann is looking to clinch.
Geerdes swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Mccann cracks Geerdes with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
It looks like Hans Peter Geerdes has been cut.
Mccann steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Geerdes. That one must have hurt.
Geerdes throws a series of punches but Mccann avoids them all with ease.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Mccann! But no joy.
Mccann lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Mccann misses with a left hand
and Geerdes counters with a stiff right hand.
It looks like Colton Mccann has been cut.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Geerdes swings widly with a right hand
and Mccann counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Geerdes throws a hook but Mccann blocks it.
Geerdes backing away here, and Mccann unleashes a leg kick that just misses.
Geerdes misses with a double jab.
It seemed like Mccann was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Mccann throws a hook to the side of Geerdes's head but Geerdes sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Mccann looks to land a body kick but Geerdes moved away.
Geerdes throws a hook but Mccann blocks it.
Geerdes lands a nice looking kick to the body. Mccann takes a step back to recover.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Hans Peter Geerdes will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's time! Geerdes's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Mccann throws a shot from downtown. Geerdes moves away and avoids it.
Geerdes throws a pinpoint strike between Mccann's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Mccann crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Geerdes scores a great knockout victory!
