Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Obah Bafote (ranked 2123 p4p, 1919 weight class) and Giorgi Gorgodze (ranked 250 p4p, 226 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Giorgi Gorgodze was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shirou Masuda and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bafote drives through and clinches with Gorgodze against the cage.
Gorgodze goes for a takedown attempt but Bafote pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Bafote darts in and clinches Gorgodze up against the cage.
Bafote throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Bafote.
It looks like Giorgi Gorgodze has been cut.
Bafote tries a body shot but Gorgodze blocks it.
Gorgodze blocks an elbow strike from Bafote.
With the fighters up against the cage, Bafote throws an elbow but misses.

Gorgodze has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Bafote regains guard immediately.

Bafote definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
