Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rowan Zimmerman (ranked 510 p4p, 1538 weight class) and Kryten Mechanoid (ranked 67 p4p, 192 weight class). Zimmerman comes to the cage accompanied by El Paso Del Gigante. Mechanoid is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by It's Cold Outside. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zimmerman leaves Mechanoid with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kryten Mechanoid is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Mechanoid shoots in looking for a takedown. Zimmerman tries to sprawl out of it but Mechanoid keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Zimmerman manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Zimmerman drops Mechanoid with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Mechanoid looks back up at him and smiles so Zimmerman waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Mechanoid switches off momentarily and Zimmerman cracks him with a monster right hand! Mechanoid topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Zimmerman dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Zimmerman!
