Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Cero Dohbopavich (ranked 1007 p4p, 732 weight class) and Scott Potter (ranked 131 p4p, 95 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Cero Dohbopavich! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 15 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Scott Potter! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Yukihiro Shimada and Shigeki Sano.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dohbopavich on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Potter swings widly with a right hand
and Dohbopavich decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Potter's guard. Potter wants to sweep here but Dohbopavich controlling him for the moment. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Potter can do anything to dispel that myth. Dohbopavich wants to control from the top but Potter keeps moving. Dohbopavich postures up and lands a big shot to Potter's brow. Potter looking for a sweep. Not yet Potter, not yet. Potter throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Dohbopavich postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Dohbopavich working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Dohbopavich loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dohbopavich's corner is telling him to maintain position. Potter has his hands on Dohbopavich's head, controlling the position. Potter tries to land a sweep but no joy. Potter controlling Dohbopavich's posture.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Potter is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Dohbopavich is controlling him. Potter is looking to stand back up but Dohbopavich counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Potter. Dohbopavich slips a nice elbow through Potter's hands, connecting with Potter's forehead. Dohbopavich missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Potter tries to get to full guard but Dohbopavich has control of the leg. Dohbopavich throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Dohbopavich wants to lay and pray for a moment but Potter keeps working. Potter wants to improve his position but Dohbopavich is controlling well.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Dohbopavich throwing shots but Potter is blocking nicely. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Potter tries to get to full guard but Dohbopavich has control of the leg. Dohbopavich throwing shots but Potter is blocking nicely. Dohbopavich drops an elbow to the side of Potter's head. We've been hearing that Dohbopavich has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Potter on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Dohbopavich is nestled in close to Potter, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Dohbopavich has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Dohbopavich working the head and body with strikes. Dohbopavich is trying to control the action in half guard but Potter is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Potter tries to roll over but Dohbopavich keeps him under control. Potter keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Dohbopavich not landing any meaningful shots this time.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Potter trying to control here.

Potter looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Dohbopavich puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Dohbopavich seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Potter tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Dohbopavich has advanced to mount. Uh oh. Dohbopavich can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Potter is looking to escape.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Dohbopavich prevents Potter from getting the reversal. Dohbopavich landing shots from mount. Dohbopavich breaks from Potter's wrist control and lands an elbow. Potter is working to get back to half guard.
Dohbopavich is in the full mount, landing strikes. Dohbopavich lands with some strikes. This has been an exciting period of action! Dohbopavich prevents Potter from getting the reversal. Potter is still trying to improve position. Dohbopavich is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Potter can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
 Potter is rocked! Oooh a big shot lands for Dohbopavich! Potter is out! The ref dives in to save him from more punishment!
