The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Talvela scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
It looks like Kane Thoupos has been cut.
Thoupos has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Talvela takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Thoupos is rocked!
Talvela thuds his shin into the meat of Thoupos's side.
Talvela pounces like a tiger and cracks Thoupos with a vicious hook! Thoupos is down but not out! Talvela follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
