Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Boomer (ranked 479 p4p, 718 weight class) and Biff Barbie (ranked 66 p4p, 94 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 27 - 14 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mike Boomer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Biff Barbie!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Radbod Blank and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boomer pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Boomer misses with a low kick.
Boomer misses with an attempted mid kick.
Barbie ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Boomer moves away.
Barbie takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Boomer throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Barbie sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Barbie throws a big shot that misses.
Boomer appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Barbie lets loose with a powerful body kick. Boomer will feel that in the morning.
Barbie lands a right hook to the body.
Nice jab there from Barbie.
Boomer throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Boomer throws a solid leg kick but Barbie takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Boomer.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Boomer fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Barbie has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Barbie lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
It looks like Mike Boomer has been cut.
Barbie feints and then cracks Boomer's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Boomer down.

Barbie breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Boomer looks for the body kick but Barbie saw that one coming.
Barbie tries a quick counter leg kick but Boomer is wise to it.
Barbie paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

Boomer walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Barbie checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Barbie closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Barbie lands a left hand that snaps the head of Boomer backwards.
Boomer pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Boomer trying to control the position but instead, Barbie has worked for underhooks and has pushed Boomer into the cage.
Barbie tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Barbie lands an uppercut.
Barbie lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Boomer lands a shot to the body.
Boomer blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Barbie misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Barbie is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

Boomer lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
The referee is keeping an eye on Barbie - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Boomer takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Barbie is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Barbie lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Boomer at a distance.
Barbie lands a big uppercut and Boomer crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Boomer looks OK. Barbie waves Boomer back to his feet!
Oh Boomer is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Boomer steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Barbie. That one must have hurt.
Barbie has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

Barbie fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Boomer square on the jaw! Damn, Boomer is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!

Biff Barbie decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
