Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jay Lawrence (ranked 1476 p4p, 1560 weight class) and Shawn Silvia (ranked 197 p4p, 209 weight class). Silvia has chosen I'd Love to knock the hell out of you as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jay Lawrence!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Shawn Silvia!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Tiny Johnson and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lawrence stuns Silvia with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Lawrence works Silvia's body with a nice hook.
Silvia throws a poor cross that misses
and Lawrence counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Lawrence moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
It looks like Shawn Silvia has been cut.
Silvia takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Silvia throws an off balance right hand
and Lawrence counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Silvia takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Silvia throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Lawrence lands a left and a right that send Silvia crashing to the mat, dazed. Lawrence thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Silvia is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lawrence finds Silvia's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Silvia flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Lawrence lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Silvia will be OK.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jay Lawrence!
