The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Sosuke Kotani and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Christian shoots in for a takedown but Chang shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Chang let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Niko Christian seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Chang walks into a stiff left hand from Christian.
Christian swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Chang counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Christian ducks under a wild hook from Chang.
Chang jabbing away but nothing is landing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Christian gets the takedown into side control.
Chang is trying to control Christian's posture but Christian avoids it.
Chang tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Christian presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Chang is desperately trying to improve his position but Christian has a good base and remains in mount.
