Silva's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, “Ak Do Flamego”. Schlitz Mahpants Jr has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva feints and then cracks Mahpants Jr's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Mahpants Jr down.
Mahpants Jr throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Mahpants Jr throws a jab but it's blocked by Silva.
Silva throwing a counter right hand but Mahpants Jr manages to avoid it.
Nice jab there from Mahpants Jr.
It looks like Reñan Silva has been cut.
Silva checks a leg kick.
Silva tries to work over Mahpants Jr's front leg with a kick but Mahpants Jr checks it.
Silva misses with a wild body shot.
Mahpants Jr lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mahpants Jr lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Mahpants Jr tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Silva appears to be looking for a big counter.

Silva pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Mahpants Jr throws a quick inside leg kick.
Silva tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
A bone on bone clash there as Mahpants Jr blocks the leg kick.
Mahpants Jr takes the fight into the clinch.
Mahpants Jr tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Silva tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Mahpants Jr smiles and moves away.
Silva lands with a nice body kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Silva cracks Mahpants Jr with a good jab.
Silva walks into a left hand.
Silva misses with a low kick as Mahpants Jr jumps back.
Mahpants Jr connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Silva's hands.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Mahpants Jr tries to close the distance and clinch but Silva swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
As Mahpants Jr backs away, Silva returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Silva fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Silva uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Mahpants Jr.
Silva uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Mahpants Jr.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Mahpants Jr, as that shot connected.
Silva looks to land a body kick but Mahpants Jr moved away.
Mahpants Jr let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.

Whack! Mahpants Jr lands a heavy head kick that drops Silva. The ref tackles Mahpants Jr to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Silva was done.

Schlitz Mahpants Jr decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
