Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Daichi Tanaka!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Kenichi Hosakawa and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tanaka misses with a straight right.
Penn seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Penn checks a low kick from Tanaka.
Penn drops Tanaka with a beautiful combination! Tanaka stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Penn is looking for the KO!
Tanaka is rocked!
Penn misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Tanaka is still on wobbly legs! Can Penn finish him?
Penn tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Tanaka was well out of range. Poor timing from Penn.
Tanaka finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Penn throws a nice looking combination but Tanaka bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Penn feints with a jab and clips Tanaka right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Tanaka is sent crashing into the canvas and Penn leaps in for the kill! Tanaka tries to get to his feet but Penn is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Tanaka is in need of a savior and steps in!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). JB Penn!
