Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Small Richard (ranked 586 p4p, 266 weight class) and Bruce White Jr (ranked 55 p4p, 28 weight class). Bruce White Jr is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 25 - 13 - 0, fighting out of London, Small Richard! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 35 - 25 - 1, fighting out of London, Bruce White Jr! The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Wagner Zegers and Albert Achterberg.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! White Jr pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Richard has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. White Jr throws a low kick but Richard moves out of range easily. White Jr throws a leg kick that is checked
so Richard counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Richard working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Richard connects with a couple of short punches. White Jr looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Richard sitting in guard here, content to control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
White Jr has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Richard can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. White Jr keeping moving, preventing Richard from controlling successfully.

Richard stands up over White Jr, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Richard distracts White Jr with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Richard is working White Jr over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Richard throwing strikes from guard but White Jr blocks nicely. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. White Jr is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Richard is looking for a triangle but White Jr pushes his legs off easily.
Richard has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Richard is striking off his back. White Jr thinks nothing of it though and passes easily into half guard. White Jr stalling away here and it's allowed Richard to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Richard is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Richard looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks White Jr with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. White Jr has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Richard is working away from the top position though. Ground and pound from Richard.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. White Jr makes his way to full guard. A much better position for White Jr. White Jr controls Richard momentarily but Richard frees himself. White Jr looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Richard scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
White Jr escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Richard gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Richard landing with the ground and pound. Richard postures up and lands a big shot to White Jr's brow. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Small Richard dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

White Jr felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. White Jr tries to get back to half guard but can't. Richard grinds an elbow into White Jr's temple. Richard working the ground and pound from side control. White Jr is looking for a sweep. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Richard is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but White Jr is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Richard looks up at the clock and then as White Jr takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Richard smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

White Jr fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Richard looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. A looping hook to the body misses from White Jr. Richard does a little dance to reset his feet. Bruce White Jr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. White Jr lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

It looked like Richard wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. White Jr throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Richard tries to counter by clinching up but White Jr breaks away and moves out of range. White Jr throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. and Richard makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Richard moves out of range as White Jr strikes.

Richard is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from White Jr. White Jr attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Richard tries to counter with a takedown but White Jr is quick to defend against it. White Jr lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
