Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Darius Thibodeaux (ranked 3333 p4p, 1282 weight class) and Teofomo Laurez (ranked 121 p4p, 38 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

Laurez scores a flash knockdown with a right hook that drops Thibodeaux to his hands and knees! The ref pushes Laurez away as he looks to land an illegal blow. Thibodeaux got an extra few seconds to recover there, which could have made all the differences as he stumbles back to his feet. The referee looks into his eyes and decides to allow the bout to continue. Can he survive?!
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Laurez cracks Thibodeaux with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Thibodeaux is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Thibodeaux is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9, he's up! Wow, he cut that one a bit fine!
