Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Javier Arroyo (ranked 63 p4p, 448 weight class) and Panfilo Acerbi (ranked 8 p4p, 46 weight class). Acerbi has chosen Boom Boom Boom Boom - Venga Boys as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 32 - 16 - 3, fighting out of Montreal, Javier Arroyo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Panfilo Acerbi!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Kenichi Hosakawa and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arroyo lands a leg kick that knocks Acerbi off balance momentarily.
Arroyo dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Acerbi. That did some damage!
Arroyo throws a body shot but no joy.
A looping hook to the body misses from Acerbi. Arroyo does a little dance to reset his feet.

Arroyo connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Acerbi momentarily.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Acerbi is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Arroyo is surviving well by controlling Acerbi's body position as best he can.
Acerbi is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Arroyo has managed to escape the submission attempt.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Acerbi is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Panfilo Acerbi comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Arroyo has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
