Coming up we have a middleweight kickboxing rules bout between Ngozi Chai (ranked 1112 p4p, 23789 weight class) and Ichigho Kurosaki (ranked 138 p4p, 508 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 23 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Ngozi Chai! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 20 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ichigho Kurosaki! The judges for this bout are Roosa J�rvil�inen, Anni Minnem�ki and Marco Blurstr�m.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chai throws an off balance right hand
and Kurosaki counters with a body kick. Kurosaki bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Chai's head. Chai looks to land a left hand but Kurosaki moved out of range nicely. Kurosaki lands a glancing blow to the side of Chai's head. Chai takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. We've been told by Chai's head coaches at Master Chai's Dojo that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Kurosaki swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Kurosaki has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Chai is landing a low percentage of strikes. Chai throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Kurosaki looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Chai throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kurosaki connects with a body shot. Kurosaki uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Chai has time to react. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Chai misses with a body shot.
Kurosaki throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Chai sees it coming and avoids it easily. Chai swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Kurosaki lands a nice hook to Chai's body. Chai takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Chai takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Chai digs a good hook to Kurosaki's body.
Kurosaki throws a good cross that connects.
 Chai is rocked! Kurosaki getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Oh Chai is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Chai throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Chai seems to have got his legs back now. Chai blocks a jab. Kurosaki waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Chai. Kurosaki moves to clinch but Chai breaks away and Chai counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Kurosaki's corner calls for a 1-2. Kurosaki throws out a head kick that Chai doesn't see coming - it connects and sends Chai crashing to the mat face first! He's bounced up to his knees and is scrambling to get back to his feet and beat the count. He's up on 5 but still looks a bit groggy; will the referee allow it to continue??? He's taking a good look into Chai's eyes and has decided to let it go on! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Chai comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Kurosaki lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Chai misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Kurosaki counters with a nice uppercut. Kurosaki might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Chai misses with a hook
and Kurosaki counters with a lovely shot to the body. A lazy left from Kurosaki finds it's target. Kurosaki rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Kurosaki takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Kurosaki misses with a hook. Chai ducked under it nicely. Kurosaki lands with a kick to the ribs.
Kurosaki throws a sloppy head kick and Chai moves out of range easily. Kurosaki lands a lovely overhand right. Kurosaki lands a nice hook to Chai's body. Chai takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Kurosaki buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kurosaki throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
An attempted straight right counter from Chai misses the target. Kurosaki throws a nice inside leg kick. Kurosaki misses with a head kick.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Having scored a knockdown, Ichigho Kurosaki should take round 1, putting pressure on his opponene back strong in round 2. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Kurosaki throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Chai throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kurosaki lands with a kick to the temple. Chai shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Kurosaki uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Chai. Kurosaki takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kurosaki tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Kurosaki misses with an uppercut. Chai swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. A big right from Kurosaki misses. Kurosaki missing with a left hand there. Chai was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Kurosaki moves away from the strike by Chai. Kurosaki lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Kurosaki throws a sloppy body shot
and Kurosaki takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Chai scores a flash knockdown with a right hook that drops Kurosaki to his hands and knees! The ref pushes Chai away as he looks to land an illegal blow. Kurosaki got an extra few seconds to recover there, which could have made all the differences as he stumbles back to his feet. The referee looks into his eyes and decides to allow the bout to continue. Can he survive?!
 Kurosaki is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! Chai throws a quick inside leg kick. Kurosaki is still on wobbly legs! Can Chai finish him? Chai closes the distance and catches Kurosaki with a lead hook that drops him to the canvas! Kurosaki is clearly dazed and struggling here! 3,4,5,6,7 and Kurosaki is up to his feet but the referee has called it off! Kurosaki is still far too wobbly and he's not going to allow the fight to continue! Chai takes it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:15 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Ngozi Chai! Ngozi Chai retains his middleweight title! After winning the bout, Ngozi Chai thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
