Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Silvio Van De Leide!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Patrick Alders and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shifter moves away from the strike by Van De Leide.
Van De Leide throws a hook but Shifter blocks it.
Van De Leide moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Van De Leide keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Shifter is rocked!
Van De Leide swings widly with a right hand
and Shifter counters with a takedown into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Shifter is trying to get an arm triangle but Van De Leide is defending well.
Van De Leide is trying to control Shifter's posture but Shifter avoids it.
An elbow from Shifter crashes against the mat.
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Shifter has hold of Van De Leide's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Van De Leide tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Shifter cranks the arm and Van De Leide screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Van De Leide, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Shape Shifter!
