Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Diego Macaco (ranked 17 p4p, 53 weight class) and Mason Jones (ranked 2 p4p, 9 weight class). Macaco comes to the cage accompanied by Can’t Touch This. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

A quick step to the side and Macaco tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Jones throws a nice outside leg kick.
Jones checks the leg kick nicely there.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Jones! But no joy.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Jones lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Jones fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Macaco looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Jones throws an overhand right that lands on Macaco's shoulder, as Macaco tries to avoid the shot.
And Macaco counters with a quick kick to the body but Jones blocks it.
Macaco jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Macaco misses with a few strikes there.
Jones throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Macaco on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Jones gets tackled into the cage by Macaco. Macaco maintains the clinch.

Mason Jones comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Jones has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
