Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Giang Hao (ranked 1472 p4p, 1992 weight class) and Philip Roth (ranked 68 p4p, 79 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Giang Hao!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Philip Roth!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Sosuke Kotani and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hao punishes Roth's body with a nice straight punch.
Roth throws a poor cross that misses
letting Hao counter with a right hand.
Roth misses with a double jab.
Hao slips a straight right by Roth.
Hao takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Hao throws a lazy right hand but Roth sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Roth lands with a good body shot.
Hao swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Roth looks to land a left hand but Hao moved out of range nicely.
It looked like Hao was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Roth.
Roth misses with a hook.
Hao lands a jab to the head.
It looks like Philip Roth has been cut.
Hao steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Roth.
Roth throws a looping overhand right but Hao ducks down to avoid it.
Hao is looking for a counter combo.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Roth ducks under a wild hook from Hao.
Roth cracks Hao with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hao avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Roth lands a jab to the head.
Roth displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Hao throws out the jab.
Hao swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A combination from Roth does no damage.
Roth misses the jab.
Hao misses with an uppercut
and Roth counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Roth might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Roth misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Roth thows a left - swing and a miss!
Roth lands with a cross.
Roth throws a hook to the side of Hao's head but Hao sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Giang Hao is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Roth takes a swing at Hao's ribcage but misses.
Hao was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Roth misses with a body punch
and Hao counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
A looping hook to the body misses from Hao. Roth does a little dance to reset his feet.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hao throws a body punch but Roth moves out of range.
As Hao backs off Roth throws a huge counter combo but Hao manages to avoid it all.
Hao cracks Roth with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Roth uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Hao.
Roth rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hao moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Roth fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hao manages to avoid it.
Hao throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Roth throws a right hand that misses
and Hao connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Hao lands a jab to Roth's midsection.
Roth throws the left hand but Hao avoids the punch easily.
Hao throws a combination. Roth tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Roth gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Giang Hao will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Philip Roth's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Roth throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Roth throws a shot from downtown. Hao moves away and avoids it.
Hao avoids a punch combination nicely.
A little feinted left hand from Hao on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Hao is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight.
Hao steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Roth.
Philip Roth seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Hao clips Roth with a right and a left that makes him do the chicken dance for a couple of seconds. He touched his left hand down on the canvas so the referee steps between the fighters to give Roth a standing 8 count before we can continue the bout.
Hao avoids the body shot from Roth.

Roth misses with a right hand
and Hao counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Roth drops his guard momentarily, allowing Hao to crack him with a picture perfect lead left hook! Boom! Down goes Roth! Oh, he's in big trouble - I don't like his chances here as the referee's count reaches 5. 6,7,8,9...10! He's out! Hao takes it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Giang Hao!
Giang Hao was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
