Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Miles O Brien (ranked 321 p4p, 881 weight class) and Menes Kai (ranked 34 p4p, 94 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think O Brien might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Sweet Leaf. Kai has chosen The Astronaut - Jin as his entrance music. Menes Kai is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Menes Kai seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Kai counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
O Brien looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

O Brien looks to throw the jab but Kai is out of range.
O Brien ducks right into an uppercut from Kai.

O Brien uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kai.
O Brien uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Kai.
Kai throws an uppercut from half a mile away. O Brien sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Kai misses with a hook
and O Brien counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Kai throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
O Brien pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Kai is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down O Brien rather than just go for the knockout.

The fighters circle, before O Brien throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Kai's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! O Brien lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
