The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rua swings for the body but Sanford moves out of range.

It looks like Wanderlei Rua has been cut.
Rua throws a right hand that misses
and Sanford counters with a body kick.
Rua lands a big uppercut and Sanford crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Sanford looks OK. Rua waves Sanford back to his feet!
It looks like Tiff Sanford has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Wanderlei Rua seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Sanford counters with a nice right hand that sends Rua toppling to the canvas! Rua scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Sanford finish him?!
Rua is aggressively charging in as Sanford backs up avoiding any damage. Sanford tosses out a jab and Rua runs right into it face first! Rua is out cold! Sanford dropped down on all fours and is barking in Rua's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
