Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 17 - 2, fighting out of Helsinki, Ishmael Egyptian!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ibasour Sershurrapal!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Felipe Paraventi and Mauricio Rocha.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sershurrapal shoots in for a takedown but Egyptian shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Sershurrapal drives through and clinches with Egyptian against the cage.
Sershurrapal's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Sershurrapal is trying to pull guard but Egyptian has him pressed against the cage.

Sershurrapal has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Egyptian uses from the top position.

Egyptian wants to pass the guard but Sershurrapal is keeping the position.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Our spies down at at Alpha Brasil inform us that Sershurrapal has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?

Egyptian is looking to advance position but Sershurrapal won't allow it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Egyptian wants to pass to mount but Sershurrapal is defending the position.
Sershurrapal is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Egyptian is looking to take a break and control but Sershurrapal is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Egyptian prevents Sershurrapal from improving his position.
Sershurrapal is still trying to improve position.
Egyptian looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Egyptian wants to free his trapped foot but Sershurrapal is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Egyptian is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Sershurrapal reverses the position - he's now on top in Egyptian's guard.
Sershurrapal missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Egyptian has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

Egyptian has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Sershurrapal can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Egyptian really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Sershurrapal tries to free his leg and advance position but Egyptian is retaining full guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Egyptian looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Sershurrapal is defending well. Egyptian quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Sershurrapal has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Egyptian celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
