Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between JD Drake (ranked 496 p4p, 257 weight class) and Nikora Tama (ranked 64 p4p, 37 weight class). Drake comes into the arena with Born in the USA by - Bruce Springstein blaring out of the sound system. Tama has chosen Haka War Dance as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, JD Drake!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nikora Tama!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drake slaps away a takedown attempt from Tama, before circling back to the center of the mat.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Tama connects with a nice short shot to Drake's temple.

Tama is stalling here. Drake is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Tama seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Drake has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
