Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between James Darwin (ranked 569 p4p, 1070 weight class) and Hugo Eklund (ranked 79 p4p, 138 weight class). Hugo Eklund will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, James Darwin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Hugo Eklund!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Eklund. Those never looked like landing.

We've been hearing reports that Darwin has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
