The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Joe sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Fleshou Jr's guard.

Fleshou Jr is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Joe is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Fleshou Jr defends well.
Fleshou Jr not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Stres Fleshou Jr dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Joe drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Fleshou Jr will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Fleshou Jr has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Joe can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Joe is sitting in close to Fleshou Jr's body. Fleshou Jr has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Joe is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Joe is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Fleshou Jr.
