Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tico Tico (ranked 778 p4p, 946 weight class) and Georgs Elmars (ranked 70 p4p, 85 weight class). Tico comes to the cage accompanied by Paco De Lucia - Tico Tico . Elmars has chosen Warrior's Anthem by Skyforger as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Georgs Elmars!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Aafke Stam and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Elmars tries to score a power double leg takedown but Tico sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Elmars somewhat.

Elmars is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Tico's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Tico's back!
Elmars has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Tico has freed his hand and lives to survive another� well, another couple of seconds at least!

That was a close second round but I would say that Tico Tico will probably get the nod.

Elmars shoots in looking for a takedown. Tico tries to sprawl out of it but Elmars keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Tico manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Tico throws a hook but Elmars blocks it.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

Elmars throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Tico tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Elmars is in Tico's guard.

Elmars is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Tico defends well.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Tico Tico.
I think Tico has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
