Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Emerald Dream (ranked 942 p4p, 804 weight class) and Aatami Korpi (ranked 116 p4p, 101 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Emerald Dream!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 2, fighting out of St Petersburg, Aatami Korpi!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Fedor Mirinova and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Korpi throws a left and a right that both miss
and Dream counters with a straight right hand.
It looks like Aatami Korpi has been cut.
Korpi scores with a jab to the jaw.
Korpi bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Dream's head backwards.
Dream has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Outlaw MMA in the buildup to the fight.
Aatami Korpi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Korpi throws a low kick but Dream moves out of range easily.
An attempted straight right counter from Dream misses the target.
Dream slips a straight right by Korpi.
Dream on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Korpi throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Dream connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Korpi misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Dream throwing a counter right hand but Korpi manages to avoid it.

and Dream counters with a left to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Korpi throws a lazy uppercut
and Dream counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Korpi is looking to chop away at Dream's legs.
Dream was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

A looping hook to the body misses from Korpi. Dream does a little dance to reset his feet.
Dream swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Korpi misses with a right hand
and Dream counters with a nice uppercut.
Korpi misses the shot to the body.
Korpi is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Dream.
Dream throwing a counter right hand but Korpi manages to avoid it.
Korpi dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Korpi lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Korpi misses the jab.
Korpi thows a leg kick but Dream checks it
and Dream counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Korpi misses with a lunging right hand
and Dream counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Dream has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Dream showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Korpi.

and Dream counters with a nice right hand that sends Korpi toppling to the canvas! Korpi scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Dream finish him?!
Korpi looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Korpi throws a sloppy head kick
and Korpi takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Korpi ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Korpi comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Nice shot lands for Korpi.
Korpi misses with a straight left.
Dream swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Korpi throws a leg kick
and Dream counters with a nice right hand that sends Korpi toppling to the canvas! Korpi scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Dream finish him?!
Korpi connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

Korpi lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Dream is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Korpi throws a right hand that misses
and Dream counters with a crisp right hand that drops Korpi! Dream lets Korpi back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Korpi is rocked!
That has opened up Aatami Korpi's cut even more.
Dream blocks the body kick.
Korpi is still on wobbly legs! Can Dream finish him?
Korpi throws a poor cross that misses
and Dream counters with a big left hand that crumples Korpi! He was out before he hit the floor! Brutal knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Emerald Dream!
An out of breath Emerald Dream thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
