Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Lennart Hohenthal (ranked 53 p4p, 167 weight class) and Nick Jackson (ranked 5 p4p, 15 weight class). Lennart Hohenthal had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 34 - 15 - 2, fighting out of Helsinki, Lennart Hohenthal! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 24 - 21 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nick Jackson! The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Albert Achterberg and Radbod Blank.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson tried to score with a low kick but Hohenthal checks it. Jackson bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Hohenthal's head backwards. Jackson walks into a stiff left hand from Hohenthal. Jackson throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Hohenthal was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Jackson misses with an uppercut
and Hohenthal counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
 It looks like Nick Jackson has been cut. Jackson misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Hohenthal.
It looked like Hohenthal wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Jackson fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Hohenthal on the side of the head. Hohenthal has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Infamous Duranto Gym in the buildup to the fight. Jackson keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jackson works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Hohenthal on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. We've been informed that Jackson has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Hohenthal avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Nice uppercut lands for Jackson. That snapped Hohenthal's head back.
Hohenthal shoots in but Jackson avoids the takedown attempt easily. Hohenthal takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Jackson connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Hohenthal steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Jackson. Jackson bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Hohenthal has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Hohenthal there as he acknowledges the shot. Jackson fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Hohenthal throws the left hand but Jackson avoids the punch easily.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Jackson misses with an uppercut. Hohenthal saw that one coming. Hohenthal checks the leg kick. Hohenthal slips under a jab. Jackson misses with a right hand letting Hohenthal counter with a right hand. A swing and a miss from Hohenthal. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Jackson misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Hohenthal.
Hohenthal swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Jackson misses with a lunging right hand
and Hohenthal connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Jackson lands with a right hand. Jackson displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Hohenthal throws out the jab. Jackson cracks Hohenthal with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Jackson misses with a lunging right hand
and Hohenthal cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
 Jackson is rocked!
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Jackson misses with a right hand and Hohenthal scores with a counter punch that sends Jackson to the canvas! Hohenthal smells blood - he's punishing Jackson with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Jackson has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lennart Hohenthal! Lennart Hohenthal retains his bantamweight title! A less than humble Lennart Hohenthal misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
